Q-Booth is a photobooth Super-App for Windows: one piece of software that runs every kind of booth you might set up — photo, AI, face swap, collage, boomerang and motion, Lenticular, Flipbook, 360 video and Glambot — instead of juggling a separate app for each.

It combines Offline AI, which runs on your own graphics card with no internet at all, with Online AI, which reaches the latest cloud models. It is in use in more than 50 countries.

Q-Booth is developed by LumaQube Technology, based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Our English site is www.lumaqube.com and our Indonesian site is www.qbooth.id.

Yes. Q-Booth is distributed under different names in different markets: Bleepshare AI in the United States and X-Booth through a partner in Indonesia. The engine underneath is the same Q-Booth.

This is the single most useful idea to grasp before you start.

• Studio is where you build one template. There are eight of them — AI Offline, AI Online, Photo, Collage, Motion, Lenticular, Flipbook and Automation — each producing a different kind of result.
• Event is the container for one occasion. It holds the templates you built, the design of every screen the guest touches, the sharing settings and the statistics. The Event is what you actually launch at the venue.

So a Studio never stands alone: you build a template in a Studio, then put it into an Event.

Yes — one payment, and the software licence never expires. There is no mandatory subscription.

We deliberately keep the service cost separate from the software price. The only optional subscription is Q-Booth Cloud Sharing ($10.00 / month or $70.00 / year), and even that is only one of three ways to hand photos to your guests — the other two are free.

Yes, at any time. You pay the difference between the two editions plus a handling fee of $50.00. Nothing is lost — your templates, events and settings carry over.

One licence runs on one PC at a time, but it is not welded to that machine — you can transfer it to another computer yourself from your licence dashboard. If you run two booths at once, you need two licences.

Almost. A cloud licence checks in over the internet once every 24 hours by default; that window can be extended to 48 hours or longer on request, which covers any normal event.

If you genuinely need to stay offline for weeks or months, we also offer a USB dongle licence, which never checks in at all. The dongle is a physical item and has to be shipped to you.

Yes. The trial is Q-Booth Advanced with Lenticular and Flipbook unlocked, so you can try more than the edition itself normally includes. Start it at lumaqube.com/trial.

All three share the core booth: Photo Studio, Collage, Motion, Self-Photo mode, Gallery with QR sharing, and Automation.

• Basic — the core booth, camera to print to QR.
• Advanced — adds Face Swap and Online Studio (cloud AI models).
• Pro — adds AI Studio (Offline AI) on your own GPU, plus Lenticular and Flipbook.

They are included in Q-Booth Pro. On Basic and Advanced they are available as an add-on, so you are not forced up to Pro just for one of them. They are also unlocked during the trial, so you can see what they do before deciding.

Yes. Self-Photo mode lets guests start their own session with a PIN, with your own welcome screen and themes.

Kiosk mode goes further: voucher codes and payment. QRIS payment is available in Indonesia for Rp 100.000 per month once activated.

Yes. Motion Studio drives 360 videobooth and Glambot setups, including slow-motion and boomerang clips from a GoPro. There is also plain video recording, which works well for a video guestbook or event testimonials.

Two features are in development: Photo Mosaic, which builds a large mosaic wall out of guest photos, and a Matrix / multi-camera array for bullet-time video. Because updates are free for the life of your licence, you will get them when they land.

• Operating system — Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
• Processor and memory — 4 cores and 8 GB minimum; 8 cores and 16 GB or more if you will use Offline AI.
• Graphics card — optional for most work, but Offline AI needs an NVIDIA RTX with at least 8 GB of VRAM (an RTX 4060 8 GB or better).
• Storage — around 2 GB for the app itself; offline AI models add tens of GB more.
• Network — needed only for Online AI, cloud QR sharing, email delivery and licence activation.

Webcams and USB cameras, including virtual cameras; Canon DSLR and mirrorless bodies over Canon EDSDK with live view; and GoPro, including 360 rigs.

Other brands — Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Lumix, Pentax and so on — can be used through their own tethering software: point that software at a watched folder and Q-Booth picks up each photo as it lands.

Any printer with a Windows driver. In practice most operators use DNP, Fujifilm, Kodak, Citizen or Epson. Q-Booth V5 can also drive more than one printer at a time, which is useful for mixed layouts or when one runs out of media mid-event.

Yes. GPU acceleration for Face Swap and Face Restore now works on every supported NVIDIA card, the RTX 50-series included, and a single GPU pack covers them all. If you are coming from an older build you may be asked to re-download that pack once.

Not for Offline AI. AI Studio, face swap and face restoration all run on the computer in front of you, using its GPU and CPU. That makes them fast, free per photo, and immune to the venue Wi-Fi collapsing.

Only Online Studio needs a connection, because it calls cloud models.

Online Studio reaches the current generation of image models — including Nano-Banana (Google Gemini), Seedream 4 (ByteDance), Flux Kontext and Flux Kontext Max (Black Forest Labs) and ChatGPT Image (OpenAI).

Because the list is served from the cloud, new models appear without waiting for a Q-Booth update.

Cloud models are billed per image by the provider. Rather than mark that up and resell it, we let you connect your own account — at fal.ai or a compatible provider — so you pay the provider directly at their rate and keep control of your spending.

Each provider keeps its own key field in Settings, so fill in the key belonging to the provider whose model you picked.

Three ways, and you can mix them:

1. Local Wi-Fi QR — free. The booth PC serves the files itself; guests scan and download over the same Wi-Fi.
2. Your own FTP or hosting — free. Photos upload to a server you already pay for. Needs a little web admin knowledge.
3. Q-Booth Cloud Sharing — optional subscription. The easiest route: $10.00 / month or $70.00 / year, and the first year is already included with your licence.

Email delivery is available alongside any of them.

Yes — use the Local Wi-Fi QR method. The booth computer runs a small web server of its own, so guests scan the QR and download over the local network with no internet involved at all. A pocket router is enough.

Yes, both, for the life of the licence and at no extra cost. Updates arrive through the app itself, and every release is listed on our changelog so you can see exactly what changed.
