Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026
This policy explains what information LumaQube Tech ("we", "us") collects when you use lumaqube.com, your member account, and the QBooth photo booth app, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to us at info@lumaqube.com.
1. What we collect
- Account details you give us when you sign up or edit your settings: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), WhatsApp number, country, business name, address and language.
- Google sign-in. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address and Google account ID with us. We ask for nothing else from your Google account.
- Licences and orders: the licences you own, the computers they are activated on, and your orders. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your card details.
- Sign-in records: the time, IP address and browser of each sign-in, used to protect your account.
- Support: messages you send us on WhatsApp or in the app's chat, and log files you choose to send when asking for help.
- App usage: counts of which QBooth features are used, linked to the licence, so we know what to improve. They contain no photos or guest details.
- Photos at your events: if you use Cloud Sharing, the photos your booth uploads are stored so your guests can download them, and are deleted automatically after 21 days. If you use Cloud AI, the photos sent for an AI effect are passed to the AI provider to create the result.
2. How we use it
- To create and run your account, issue and manage your licences, and process your orders.
- To send you emails you need: account confirmation, codes, password resets, receipts and renewal reminders.
- To give you support. If you tick the box to hear from Lumi, our support assistant sends you one WhatsApp message to help with your trial. Tell us any time if you don't want it.
- To keep the service secure and to improve QBooth.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google user data
We use the name, email address and account ID we receive from Google only to sign you in and to create or find your LumaQube account. We do not use it for anything else, do not share it with anyone, and do not use it to build advertising profiles or to train AI models. LumaQube's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run QBooth, and only what each one needs:
- payment providers, to take your payment;
- our email provider, to deliver our emails;
- WhatsApp (Meta), for support messages;
- our hosting and storage providers, where the website, your account and Cloud Sharing photos are kept;
- AI providers, for photos you send through Cloud AI.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and licence information while your account exists, and order records as long as the law requires. Cloud Sharing photos are deleted after 21 days.
6. Your choices
- You can see and change most of your details in your account settings.
- Your email address can't be changed in the settings; write to us if it needs correcting.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete your account, by writing to info@lumaqube.com.
- You can remove LumaQube's access to your Google account at any time in your Google account settings.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in and remembers your cart and language. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Security
Passwords are stored as secure hashes, the site uses HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For a big change we'll also tell you by email.
