  • ai online : new model, Nano Banana 2 Lite - Google's fast, cheap version of Nano Banana 2, at a fixed 1024 pixels.

Collage Studio

  • collage : a template inside a layer can now hand over its extras too - the original image and the before-and-after video come out as results next to the strip.

Event

  • event : an event can now start on its own when the app opens - turn on "Auto Launch Event on App Start" in Settings > Advanced and pick the event.
  • event : new "Scan a QR now" delivery - the guest scans a code right after their shots and their photo appears at that link once it is ready.

Others

  • new : turn on "Keep original without overlay" in Settings > Advanced to also save every photo before the overlay goes on, in an "_original" folder next to the results.

Event

  • event : bug fixed - the page background video and the idle video could still go missing part-way through an event.

Event

  • event : templates and categories are now saved the moment you change them, so "Unsaved" only means you changed one of the event's settings.

  • event : bug fixed - videos used in an event (page background, idle attract, cue clip) could stop showing part-way through.
  • event : bug fixed - an event could get gradually slower the longer the app was left open.
  • event : you can now work on many templates at once in the Templates list - click "Select", tick the ones you want, then set their category, switch them on or off, or delete them together.
  • event : add a button with the "Next" action to the template picker to make guests confirm their choice instead of going straight through.
  • event : tapping a card on the template or category picker now dims it, so the guest can see which one they touched.

Others

  • studio : you can now set a camera filter on the template itself - use the filters from Settings, turn filters off, or choose your own.
  • canon : bug fixed - the app could freeze completely when taking a photo, often part-way through a photo strip.

AI Offline

  • faceswap : new choice for computers in CPU mode - keep the face engine loaded between photos, or free its memory after each one. In Settings > Advanced.
  • faceswap : the app now names each step while the face engine loads, with a timer, instead of sitting on one message.

Collage Studio

  • collage : you can now add a QR code as a layer, so you decide where it sits on the print - drag, resize and rotate it anywhere on the design.
  • collage : bug fixed - changing a "Layer Result" layer into a text layer could make the template fail at Process, naming a layer you cannot find.

Lenticular Studio

  • lenticular : bug fixed - layer photos saved with "Include as result" now carry the session name instead of a plain reused name.

Event

  • event : the Templates and Categories lists in the event editor now open much faster.
  • event : the template picker and category picker screens now appear much faster during an event.
  • event : picking a cover image is quicker to preview.
  • event : template and category cover images are now shrunk to a sensible size when you pick them.
  • event : bug fixed - on the camera page, the countdown could stop part-way through on a slower computer.

Others

  • studio : template files are now much smaller when you set a cover image.
  • gallery : one photo session now shows as a single card with a badge for how many items it holds, instead of one card per file.
  • gallery : the card shows the session's main result - the photo if there is one, otherwise the video.
  • gallery : clicking a card shows everything that session made, in a "Product" strip and an "Extra" strip.
  • gallery : deleting a card now removes the whole session; deleting a single file from the strip still removes only that file.
  • gallery : the number beside each folder now counts sessions, so it matches the count shown at the top of the grid.
  • new : Automation Studio is back - drop photos into a folder and the app processes each one with your chosen template. Advanced license and above.
  • new : the MP4 to Transparent WebM converter is now in the normal app, in Settings > Others.
  • camera : the live camera view now dims everything outside the template's frame - four strengths, with an optional red outline. In Settings > Hardware > Camera.

Motion Studio

  • motion : bug fixed - videos, especially Boomerang clips, could come out grainy and pixelated.

Event

  • event : bug fixed - photos delivered by Manual pickup with "auto upload" on were never uploaded, so the online link and any printed QR pointed to nothing.
  • event : the QR code element on the result screen now works on its own - placing it is enough, and every photo uploads by itself while it is switched on.
  • event : the note next to the QR code element in the result designer is now plainer and uses the full width of the panel.

Others

  • gpu : you can now switch the live camera preview to CPU mode in Settings > Others > "Live View Render Engine" when it shows black.
  • gpu : computers with no graphics card now show the live preview automatically, instead of a "graphics driver required" message.

Collage Studio

  • collage : when you use the option to place extra copies of the result on one sheet, an overlay (frame/logo) from your template or the global setting now goes on every copy - the same overlay, sized to fit each copy - so each one you cut out looks finished. Before, a single overlay was stretched across the whole sheet.

Lenticular Studio

  • lenticular : bug fixed - Lenticular Studio failed to process when one layer used another layer's input image as its source. It now processes correctly, in the studio and in an event.

Motion Studio

  • motion : the Glam and Boomerang clips are now a single clip called Boomerang. Record a video, then build a sequence of moves - each plays forward or reverse at a speed you choose - so you get the glam speed-ramp look and the back-and-forth boomerang together in one clip, with a live preview while you edit and a set of ready-made presets to start from. Works in the studio and in a live event.

Event

  • event : new Result Delivery choices. In an event's Result Delivery settings you can now turn on any mix of three ways for guests to get their photo: Direct (shown right on the booth screen), Email a link, or Manual pickup (the photo is created in the background and waits in the event's gallery for your staff to hand over). Manual pickup needs no email set-up.
  • event : let the guest choose. When you turn on more than one delivery way, the guest is simply asked at the booth how they'd like their photo (wait here / email it to me / get it later). Each template can either follow the event setting or set its own with "Custom".

Others

  • new : you can now back up and restore your settings. Go to Settings > Backup & Restore and export everything (cameras, printers, QR, sharing accounts, filters and more) to a single file - keep it as a backup before reinstalling, or move it to another computer and import it there. Importing replaces your current settings and restarts the app; your old settings are saved to a "backup" folder first so you can always import them back.
  • bug fixed : the app could fail to start if its settings file got corrupted. It now keeps a spare copy of each settings file and repairs itself automatically - and if a file is beyond repair it resets that part to defaults and tells you - so it always launches.
  • gopro : bug fixed - the GoPro didn't work correctly in a live event booth. The recording countdown was missing, the result video could fail to appear or freeze for several seconds before playing, retaking a shot showed a frozen/garbled picture while the countdown ran, and force-exiting mid-recording left the camera still recording. All fixed - the GoPro now records, plays back, retakes and exits cleanly in events, and finished videos play smoothly right away.

Collage Studio

  • collage : when a template puts more than one copy of the photo on a single sheet (like a double photo strip), turning on "Print QR Code on Result" now places a QR code on every copy - in the same spot on each - so each strip you cut out has its own scannable code. Before, only one QR appeared on the whole sheet.

Others

  • bug fixed : photos taken with the Studio Camera could come out low resolution. This showed up most with Collage when a photo layer had "include as result" turned on - the saved single photo looked soft and its file was tiny (around 500 KB) even with Image Quality set to Maximum. The app was accidentally saving the small on-screen preview instead of the full-size photo from the camera. It now always saves the full-resolution shot. This affects every studio's capture that uses a crop guide, not just Collage. (The live event booth camera was never affected.)
  • gopro : you can now choose which WiFi adapter connects to the GoPro. Handy when your PC has two adapters - pick one for the GoPro and keep your internet on the other.
